As you earn your degree, you’ll learn the skills you need to work as a radiologic technologist (RAD), performing diagnostic imaging exams to look for patient issues. The RAD works with physicians in hospitals, healthcare facilities, local medical centers, or imaging centers to evaluate images from X-rays, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans, and computed tomography (CT) scans and determine if more need to be taken. The RAD also keeps detailed patient records, prepares patients for procedures, and operates equipment for images.
